Short answer
Simple reviews (a payment issue, an automated flag) can clear quickly. Reviews that need a person, or involve a whole Business Portfolio, can take much longer.
Where to see the status
Go to Account Quality in Meta Business Suite. Each restricted asset shows whether a review is in progress, decided, or still available to request.
Why it stalls
- The restriction is on the portfolio or a profile, not just the ad account.
- Verification documents don’t match your legal name or address.
- An admin profile is flagged too.
- Several assets were appealed at once.
What to do meanwhile
- Don’t open new ad accounts to keep running. That can count as circumventing. See circumventing systems.
- Clear any unpaid balance.
- Finish business verification if it’s pending.
- Keep screenshots of everything.
If it’s been too long
