Short answer
Request a review from Account Quality, but first make sure your business details match your Companies House record exactly and your billing is set up for GBP. Mismatched details are one of the most common reasons reviews fail.
Checks specific to the UK
- Use your exact Companies House name. Sole traders can verify with a utility bill or bank statement in the business name.
- If you’re VAT-registered, add your VAT number in billing. Meta charges UK VAT on ads.
- Financial services ads may need FCA authorisation details. Missing them is a common reason UK finance ads get rejected.
- Keep the ad account currency in GBP if you invoice in the UK. Changing currency means a new ad account, which can look like a workaround.
Then do this
- Read the reason in Account Quality.
- Turn on two-factor for every admin and remove anyone you don’t know.
- Clear any unpaid balance.
- Request the review once, with a short note on what you sell and what you fixed.
Regulated industries
Finance, health, alcohol, gambling and housing ads have extra rules in the UK. If you’re in one of these, make sure your ads and landing pages meet both Meta’s policies and local rules before you appeal.
