Short answer
Request a review from Account Quality, but first make sure your business details match your provincial or federal registration exactly and your billing is set up for CAD. Mismatched details are one of the most common reasons reviews fail.
Checks specific to Canada
- Use the legal name from your provincial or federal registration, and your CRA Business Number if Meta asks for it.
- Add your GST/HST number in billing so tax shows correctly on invoices.
- Quebec businesses: French-language ads are fine, but the landing page should match the ad language.
- Cannabis and some financial products have stricter rules in Canada. Check both Meta’s policy and the provincial rules.
Then do this
- Read the reason in Account Quality.
- Turn on two-factor for every admin and remove anyone you don’t know.
- Clear any unpaid balance.
- Request the review once, with a short note on what you sell and what you fixed.
Regulated industries
Finance, health, alcohol, gambling and housing ads have extra rules in Canada. If you’re in one of these, make sure your ads and landing pages meet both Meta’s policies and local rules before you appeal.
