Short answer
Facebook’s suspension notice gives you 180 days to ask for another look. Nothing happens automatically at the end except that the account is gone for good, along with any Pages and ad accounts where you’re the only admin.
How to appeal
- Log in at facebook.com or in the app to see the notice.
- Choose “Disagree with decision”.
- Upload ID if asked. The name should match your profile.
- Keep any explanation short, polite and factual.

If you run Pages or ads
A suspended personal profile can lock you out of Business Manager. Add a second trusted admin to your Business Portfolio if you can, and check whether ad accounts are restricted as well. See Business Manager disabled.
What to avoid
- Opening a new profile. It can be linked and disabled for “circumventing”.
- Sending ID that doesn’t match your profile name.
- Anyone who offers to “fix it” with your login.
