Short answer
Log in and follow the appeal prompt. You usually have 180 days. Meta may ask for an ID or a video selfie. If you can’t log in at all, use Meta’s disabled account form from the login screen.
How the appeal works
- Log in on the Facebook app or website.
- Follow “Request a review” or “Disagree with decision”.
- Upload ID if asked. The name must match your profile.
- Do the video selfie if asked. Good light, no filters.
- Submit once and wait for the email.
Your pages and ad accounts
When your profile is disabled, pages and ad accounts where you’re the only admin are stuck. If someone else is admin, they can keep things running. Add a second trusted admin once you’re back.
Common reasons
- Name or identity Meta couldn’t confirm.
- Account hacked and used for spam or scams.
- Reports for impersonation or fake accounts.
- Content flagged under Community Standards.
