Short answer
Check whether only Threads is suspended or your Instagram is disabled too. If only Threads, appeal in the Threads app. If Instagram is disabled, appeal Instagram first, because Threads won’t come back without it.
Which one is it?
- Threads only: Instagram works, Threads shows a suspension. Appeal in Threads.
- Instagram disabled: both are blocked. Appeal the Instagram account.
- Not sure: check Account Status in Instagram and Accounts Center.
What to do
- Open Threads and tap the suspension notice.
- Choose to request a review and confirm your details.
- If Instagram is also disabled, follow the Instagram appeal steps.
- Check Account Status in Instagram for any linked restrictions.
Why Threads accounts get suspended
- Spammy replies or lots of the same link.
- Reports for harassment or hate speech.
- Automation or follow/unfollow tools.
- Flags carried over from the Instagram account.
How Unbanz helps
We work out which account the problem sits on and handle the appeal through Meta’s official process. Main page: Instagram unbans.
How it works with Unbanz
- Message us on WhatsApp or email with the username or profile link, the email or phone on the account, and a screenshot of the notice.
- We tell you honestly if we can help and what it costs. The price is agreed before work starts.
- We prepare everything and handle the appeal through the platform’s official process.
- We keep you posted until there’s a result.
Who this is for
- People who rely on the account for work, family or a business.
- Anyone who already appealed once and got nowhere.
- Not for: accounts that were really used for scams or abuse.
Staying safe
Nobody needs your password or login codes to help you. Not us, not anyone. If someone in your DMs offers to fix it for you, asks you to log in through their link, or says they know someone at Meta, walk away. Unbanz never asks for logins and doesn’t claim any special access. We use the same official routes that are open to you, we just know them well and do the legwork properly.
No passwords or login codes. If we take it on, we get it done.
