Why mass reporting backfires
Coordinated reports look like abuse of the system. Instagram can ignore them, and the accounts doing it can get flagged. It also doesn’t work on legitimate accounts, which is the point of the system.

- Work out the exact rule being broken.
- Report the profile and the worst posts or messages.
- Use help center forms for impersonation and IP.
- Keep a record of everything.
