What Meta Verified is
Meta Verified is a paid subscription for Instagram and Facebook profiles and eligible businesses. Depending on the plan and country, Meta describes features such as a verified badge, impersonation protection, and access to account support. Features and pricing change, so check Meta’s official page for what is currently offered where you live.
What the support covers
Meta Verified support is designed to help with account issues such as login problems, security concerns and questions about features. Subscribers can typically contact support through the Help options in the app. It is a channel to raise an issue with a person.
What it cannot do
- It does not guarantee that a disabled or suspended account will be reinstated – enforcement decisions still follow Meta’s policies and review processes.
- It generally cannot be bought for an account that is already disabled, because you need to be logged in to subscribe.
- It does not override Community Guidelines decisions or bypass appeal processes.
- Support agents may direct you to the same official appeal flows everyone uses.
When it can be useful
- As prevention for creators and businesses who rely on their accounts and want a support route before problems happen.
- For hacked or login problems on an account you can still access in some form.
- For impersonation, where you want help reporting fake accounts.
Beware fake “Meta Verified support”
Scammers often pose as Meta Verified or Meta support on social media, Telegram or by phone. Real support is accessed inside the official apps. Never pay a third party for “Meta Verified support” or give out login codes. See our recovery scams guide.
How subscribers usually reach support
Inside Instagram or Facebook, subscribers typically find a support option in the Help section of settings, where they can open a chat or request assistance about an account issue. Availability can depend on the country, the plan and whether you are logged in. Meta’s official Meta Verified page describes current features.
When you contact support, be specific: say which account is affected, what notice you see, when it began and what you have already tried. Keep the conversation on the official channel and do not move it to email addresses, WhatsApp numbers or social media accounts that claim to be Meta.
Meta Verified for businesses
Meta has also offered Meta Verified options for businesses, with features aimed at brand protection and support. For businesses that rely heavily on ads and Pages, a dedicated support route can be useful when something goes wrong – but, as with personal plans, it does not change the policies that decide whether an asset is restricted or reinstated.
Setting realistic expectations
Think of Meta Verified support as a way to make sure an issue is seen by a person and routed correctly, not as a way to change the outcome. Many subscribers report that support can explain a situation or escalate a security issue, while enforcement appeals still follow the standard review. If you go in expecting that, the subscription can be good value; if you expect a guaranteed unban, it will disappoint.
If your account is already disabled
Use the official appeal route on the notice – see Instagram account disabled or Facebook account disabled. Our Instagram account recovery service can handle the case for a fixed quote; Meta makes the final decision.
Official sources
Meta updates its help pages and flows often. Always follow the wording on your own notice and the current official Help Center. Unbanz is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta, Instagram or Facebook.
